This Framus "Television" (5/118-54) model was manufactured in 1969. It's a very rare and limited version from this series.
These German-made electronics are powered by three single-coil pick-ups each operated by its own sliding on-off switch. It has a master volume and three tone controls, with separate on-off switches to bypass the tone controls. This set-up was very unique for its time.
The Framus "Television" is an incredibly versatile guitar with a distinct sound. It runs the sound-gamete... from a very clean Fender-ish tone to a harder-edge 80's sound.
The "Television" is a cousin to the Framus "Nashville" model.
