The Burns "Artist" Guitar had a very short manufacturing run, produced between '76 & '77.
This Burns "Artist" Prototype has great conventional styling, featuring a body design with unsurpassed custom woodworking. Very few of these were commercially released.
The finish is natural mahogany, with a maple fingerboard with dot inlays, aluminum binding and a bolt-on neck. It also has 2 Mach-One Hum-Buster Pick-Ups, tone & volume controls with a 3-way selector switch that's attached to a uniquely carved German-style beveled edge.
