The Baldwin-Burns "Baby Bison" was made in London. It was Jim Burns' last design before Burns Guitar was sold to Baldwin '65. The "Baby Bison" was slated as an "EXPORT" model for the very lucrative American market.
This "Baby" has an orange polyester finish, sycamore body, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The "Baby Bison" also features an advanced two pick-up circuit, identical to the Burns "Virginian." The pick-ups are quite powerful without losing clarity and the sound ranges goes from very crisp to distorted.
This versatile guitar was known as a favorite by Doobie Brother "Skunk" Baxter.
